Game of Words: View vs Counter View 2.16

Should Energetic drink be banned?
Energy drink has been one of the daily drink in the life of many sports people as well as common people. It boosts our energy and we will be more active. But it has many side effects too.

View:
Sports drinks have come to become casual drinks over recent times. It's not uncommon to watch children and teenagers unnecessarily have a can of redbull. Even though these drinks contain auger and provide us with energy, they aren't very good for our health. The same energy can be provided to our body by eating actual healthy food, for example a carbohydrate focused diet, like rice for the  meal before the activity, and maybe bananas engaging in sports.
Also, the heavy amount of sugar and calories contained in these drinks may lead to other health issues like weight gain, thereby leading to obesity, cholesterol, and increased risk of high blood pressure over time. And for short term, it makes the kids unnecessarily hyperactive.
It is true that sports drinks can help replace what we lose during longer duration exercise, especially in the heat. Electrolytes and carbohydrates help athletes refuel and rehydrate. But then again, instead of allowing the body to replenish itself and providing it only with basic form of hydration - water, allowing these "supplements" to do the work for your body gets it to somewhat rely on the drink. Your body is less self sufficient, depending on an external, unhealthy source to regenerate your energy levels. This on the long run may cause issues, and has to potential of being addictive also. Hence I believe that energy drinks or sports drinks should be made illegal and banned. It could be replaced with healthier drinks like boost or Bournvita, which provide your body with energy before-hand,hence we can conclude that sports drinks should be made illegal.

Conterview:
A lot of sportspersons believe that drinking sports drinks prior, during and after a game or practice helps them stay healthy and hydrated. But a lot of people also believe that it's not good for health. But the science behind sports drinks is very logical and make sports drink a recommended drink for all sportspersons. The science being, water regulates your body temperature and lubricates your joints. It helps transport nutrients to give you energy and keep you healthy. If you're not hydrated, your body can't perform at its highest level. You may feel tired, have muscle cramps, dizziness, or other serious symptoms. There are a lot of other benefits for the same,Water is the most logical form of hydration. However, sports drinks like Gatorade contain sugar and electrolytes like sodium and potassium. Sports drinks can help replace what we lose during longer duration exercise, especially in the heat. Electrolytes and carbohydrates help athletes refuel and rehydrate.Hence, athletes prefer the consumption of sports drinks.
Overconsumption of plain water can cause water intoxication or hyponatremia, an electrolyte disturbance in which the sodium concentration in blood plasma is too low. Severe or rapidly progressing hyponatremia can result in swelling of the brain and death. Fluids that supply 60 to 100 calories per 8 ounces help prevent this condition and provide needed carbohydrates, calories, electrolytes, and fluids for continuous performance, especially in extreme conditions over three hours. Hence it is always recommend for sportspersons to also have sport drinks and not just water when they are tired.Hence we can conclude that Water causes more frequent urination than sports drinks do. Therefore, sports drinks not only replenish these important electrolytes, carbohydrates, vitamins or minerals, they also can help the body hold on to the ones they already have for a longer period of time, hence we can say that sports drinks should not be made illegal.
